Job responsibility Contact/Focus person for all product & application support requests for the HBS products
Communication to and from Honeywell field organizations (Europe, Middle East & India), Engineering / Marketing departments and third party vendors.
Support is mainly delivered through email and phone, complex problems may require troubleshooting onsite.
Customer consultancy in terms of best usage of product as well as installing / engineering of new products or software releases at the customer sites
Education Qualifications Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical from reputed institutes. M. Tech may also apply
CCNA Certification will be an added plus
Technical Skills 3 to 5 years Tech Support experience in Networking or IT
PC hardware
LAN/WAN networks installation and configuration
MS Windows installation and configuration
MS SQL installation and configuration
Experienced in troubleshooting and repair of wiring and electronic control equipment
Practical experience with software applications like Visio, Seibel, MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
Practical experience with Anti-virus software such as Norton or McAfee, remote access software including UltraVNC, PCAnywhere and RAdmin
- Behavioral Skills Strong customer orientation
- Ability to visualize problems at field sites and diagnose remotely
- Creative, a good problem solver and facilitator
- Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to assert oneself
