- Tracking and reporting open defects to closure
- Reporting test metrics and test status
- Reviewing / ensuring review of all the test work products
- Following and ensuring that the test team follows all the organization and Software Engineering processes
- Verification of software shipment / release
- Managing verification of requirements, traceability and validation of system requirements and the system
