WALK-IN INTERVIEWS FOR AD-HOC APPOINTMENT ON TENURE BASIS FOR PROJECT ASSISTANTS/
TECHNICIANS/ LAB. ASSISTANT

The Research & Development Centre of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. is undertaking projects in the areas of Bio-Fuel and Combustion, which are designed to achieve specific results or objectives within a specified time-frame.
Qualified personnel are required on Ad-hoc basis to meet the requirement of specific jobs, pertaining to the aforesaid project, which are temporary / time-bound in nature for specified duration as mentioned against each of the following projects.

Project / Requirements
1. Development of energy efficient natural gas burner - 23 months duration
1 Lab. Asst. with ITI (Fitter) qualification (Code : R&D / Ad-hoc / 17)
Field Research & Performance demonstration of developed LPG Commercial burner -
1 year duration
1 Technician (Fitter) with ITI (Fitter) qualification (Code : R&D / Ad-hoc / 19)
Development of energy efficient biogas burner - 30 months dur8tion
1 Technician with ITI (Machinist) qualification (Code : R&D / Ad-hoc / 20)

2. Synthesis of Fuel Additives – Approx. 9 months duration
1 Project Assistant with M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) qualification with experience in
research / industry (Code : R&D / Ad-hoc / 23)
1 Lab. Asst. with ITI(Machinist) qualification with experience in industry (Code : R&D / Adhoc
/ 24) – 18 months

Emoluments:
Project Assistant –A consolidated sum of Rs. 9500/-pm.
Technician / Lab. Asst.: A consolidated sum of Rs. 4200/ -pm.

Maximum Age : M.Sc - 28 yrs. ; ITI.– 24 yrs. (As on 30.04.2008)
Candidates interested in applying for any of the above positions may appear for a ‘Walk-in Interview’ along with their complete Bio-data indicating their qualifications, age and experience together with a passport size photograph of the candidate and attested copies as well original s of testimonials in support of age, caste, qualifications and experience at IOCL, R & D Centre, Sector- 13, Faridabad – 121007 at 10.00 hrs. on 14.05.2008 Candidates reporting after 12.00 noon shall not be allowed to appear for the interview.
A candidate will be allowed to apply for one position only. No TA / DA will be paid for the purpose of
interview and joining after selection.

It is clarified that the above positions are for purely Ad-hoc appointments against the aforesaid project for the maximum period specified or co-terminus with the completion of the project or earlier and will not confer any right to any other post or vacancies in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. nor will entitle the appointee to any preference for appointment against a permanent vacancy or otherwise for regularization on a permanent basis.
