Recruitment For Trainee Technical Writer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Compiles data and writes or revises text for courseware development, informative, instructional, or promotional articles, user or process documentation, newsletters, electronic database publications, media guides, or similar materials of a technical nature.
2. Researches topics, including gathering and sorting source and background materials; consults with various personnel to clarify details of source materials; provides statistical analysis of data as required.
3. Plans layout of work, arranging sequence of topics and placement of graphics as applicable.
4. Develop documentation project plans and timelines. (Reviewer)
5. May electronically upload publications and download news cables for analysis.
6. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
7. Assists with departmental education and/or public relations events.
8. Daily reporting to the Project Leader regarding the task completed.
9. Maintain daily work record.
10. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
Ability to write, edits, and/or revises a range of technical communications from specifically compiled raw data.
Skill in collecting, analyzing, verifying, and manipulating research data.
Ability to communicate with and understand the requirements of professional staff in area of specialty.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.
Ability to interact with in a team environment.
Proposal and grant writing skills.

Assignments would fall within the following areas:
Instructor Led Training
E-learning
Content Digitization
Courseware Development
Software Documentation

Work Timings: 9.30am to 6.30pm (Saturday & Sunday off)

Salary: As per company policies.

Job Location: Mumbai
